Out of 36 musicians in the age of 20-35 years who played at least one musical instrument, 38.2% reported tinnitus. Of those with tinnitus, 7.7% practiced with amplification for more than eight hours (figure 1) and 30.8% of them listened to music through loud speakers for more than eight hours a week (figure 2) (Dinakaran, Deborah & RejoyThadathil, 2018).
