Which would you choose? There are types of hearing loss that is not preventable, however, the likelihood of getting a music-induced and noise-induced hearing loss can be reduced. If you are a frequent concert-goer or loud music-enjoyer it is so critical to protect your ears. Remember, any hearing protection is better than no hearing protection. Check out some of the videos on this website and linked below to show how to properly insert foam earplugs.
By using hearing protection, you are helping to prevent damage to your ears that causes hearing loss and that may cause tinnitus (or ringing in your ears).
Hearing loss caused by noise exposure is irreversible, so once you lose those hair cells in your hearing organ they are gone. Help to protect the hair cells that you have left by utilizing hearing protection.
